Edmund Dene Morel, originally Georges Eduard Pierre Achille Morel de Ville (1873-1924) was a British journalist, author and socialist politician. He collaborated with Roger Casement in founding the Congo Reform Association and leading a campaign against slavery. Casement sought Conrad's support for the campaign.
