Additional Comments:

Of the three provenances, one is a very recent bookplate (1965), one the original owner, "Smyth 1810". The book was then given as a gift to George Pitts on December 25th 1828. It seems unlikely that the book was annotated before being presented to him. It was purchased for the Duff House library in 2002.
