Evidence: | 'This morning on reading the Ovens & Murray Advertiser with the usual ... which that not over bright piecemeal Organ general(ly) induces I was surprised into emotion by the sudden sight of my own name & on reading the Paragraph in which the phenomenon occurred I found myself abused most royally. I was charged with rushing out of my Hole one night & violently siezing some respectable well dressed individual then ferociously dragging him to the Lock Up having him confined all night & then failing to produce any charge before the Magistrate the next morning.' |
