Reading Experience:

Evidence:
'We had a wet day yesterday, and amused ourselves with reading aloud "The Life of Stephen Langton" in "The Lives of the English Saints" (These lives were small biographies written by the more extreme members of the Oxford party.) It is well written and interesting, but I cannot go with it Thomas a Becket is no saint to my mind, and I dislike the uncalled-for hits at the Reformation'.
