Evidence: | 'Upon reading the 2nd Chap. in Deuteronomy I felt this verse so much the acknowledgement of my heart, though all the works of my hands, may not yet have appeared to be fully blessed, yet in many, may I not say [underline] most [end underline], a peculiar blessing has I think rested on them. I transcribe here, from Deuteronomy 2: verse 7 "For the Lord thy God have blessed thee in all the works of thy hand. He knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness these forty years, these forty years the Lord thy God has been with thee. Thou hast lacked nothing.' |
