Evidence: | 'The Herald this evening contained the names of the new Ministry. Kerferd is Solicitor General, Casey Minister of Lands, Wilberforce Stephen (as was to be expected) is Attorney General so Harriette's present home will be a house of importance. The Australasian of to-day contained a panegyric of Mr Caldwell the Keeper of the Dunedin Gaol. He has issued a Report that his Gaol is more than self supporting & the paper takes him at his own estimate.' |
