Evidence: | 'In the evening went to the Club. There were several members present most of them engaged with the Periodicals lately arrived by the mail. The Graphic had a fine coloured engraving of the monument recently erected in Hyde Park to the memory of the Prince Albert of Exhibition renown. The monument seems one worthy of the Queen who has erected it & of the noble man whose memory it celebrates. Was home at about nine o'clock.' |
