'Dr Franklyn, the famous Franklyn contrived a Stove in such a Manner as to make the Flame descend instead of rising upward. it was in the Form of an Urn: here are some pretty Verses on the Subject - I [italics] hope [end italics] they are Dr Burney's He Shewed them me once with the true Author's Manner; but Johnson not approving he would not own them'.
