When served with pot of tea and a bun, continued to read, eating and drinking absently. At 5 o'c looked up, gazed round cafe for two minutes, lit a cigarette, asked for bill. Started to read again, but more casually, glancing round cafe from time to time. Left at 5.5. p.m'
