Elizabeth Barrett to Mary Russell Mitford, 24 March 1842: 'Richardson's correspondence has charmed me -- "charming" being the right word, since I verily & indeed believed myself wrapt up close in the domestic brocades of the Harlowe family, all the time I spent in reading it.
