Perhaps the production of some one of my forefathers who possessd more piety than poetry. Farewell this World With all Its Vanity Wee hope through Christ To live Eternally You have the exact orthography & this inscription will probably cover the remains of one who has written so much for others & must be content with so humble an epitaph himself, unless you will furnish him with one more characteristical.'
