Additional Comments:

The identity of the reader rests on the date, currently unknown, on which the items with the Capt. K /Ker of Carskerdo provenance came into the library. From 1836 onwards, Magdalene was the only Erskine still living. If the material came into the library before 1852, she is the most likely reader.
