Rehearsal ? ?Brothers B.?. Did not go to rehearsal but went home to have a quiet evening and read ?Machiavelli?. Some day I must put my thoughts on this book on to paper. I feel at present as though it might help me very materially in some respects, on my own path in life. I think in the sex problem the hero is somewhat similar in make-up to myself. Whilst his intellectual activities are but my own magnified. This, I will qualify and explain to myself when I finish the book.'
