Victims killed in air crash on 21 July 1930 (as well as two crew) were: the Marquess of Dufferin and Ava; Viscountess Ednam; Sir Edward Ward, and Mrs Henrik Loeffler; Dufferin and Ednam apparently known to Sackville-West and her husband, whose telephone call to his mother with the news Woolf also records; see p.309 n.8 in source.
