Evidence: | ?Another book is Jowett?s life; wh. I have read with a good deal of interest. It is too long & too idolatrous; but seems to give one on the whole a good account of the man. I tried to learn from him in my time how to be a good Christian by giving up all the creeds & deciding that there is no absurdity in holding contradictory beliefs.? |
